Donation Refund Policy

Helping Hand Foundation takes the utmost care to process donations in accordance with the instructions provided by our donors, whether donations are made online or offline.

In the event of an erroneous donation or if a donor wishes to cancel a donation, the donor may submit a written refund request within 2 days of making the donation.

The refund request should be sent to Helping Hand Foundation at its official address or via email at
info@helpinghandfoundation.in , along with:

1. Proof of deduction of the donation amount from the donor’s bank account or payment instrument.
2. If a donation receipt has already been issued, the donor must return the original receipt to Helping Hand Foundation.
3. If a tax exemption certificate/receipt has already been issued, the donation generally cannot be refunded. However, if the refund is required due to an error attributable to Helping Hand Foundation, the donation will be refunded and the applicable refund costs will be borne by Helping Hand Foundation.
4. International donations may require a minimum of 10 working days for processing the refund.

Upon receiving a valid refund request, Helping Hand Foundation will review the request and respond to the donor within 7 working days. The actual time taken for the refund to reflect in the donor’s account may vary depending on the payment method, bank, or financial institution used for the transaction.
