Where Compassion Sparked a Movement
Where Compassion Sparked a Movement

Born from one visit. Driven by many hearts.

In January 2014, during a visit to KGMU’s pediatric cancer ward in Lucknow, Founder Priti Jhunjhunwala was heartbroken to see 80-100 children crammed into just 28 beds with 3-4 children sharing a single bed.

That moment sparked a powerful movement
To ensure every child had a bed of their own and a dignified space for their family.
This dream became a reality within two years

Education That Heals

Because treatment shouldn’t mean losing touch with learning.

Continuing Education for Young Cancer Patients

For children in treatment, learning means hope, normalcy, and a link to life outside the hospital.
This initiative was launched to keep young patients connected with their studies so that returning to school after treatment feels natural, not overwhelming. Staying in touch with education helps them feel included, confident, and happy — making their hospital days brighter.

Our approach:

  • Group Learning For children well enough to join, we hold cheerful group classes in the playroom where they study, interact, and support each other.
  • Bedside Learning For those too unwell to leave their beds, our teachers bring lessons — and smiles — right to them.

In Their Words

Testimonials

"I still remember the day my child smiled during treatment — it was because someone from their team sat with him, told him a story, and treated him like more than just a patient."

Dinesh Kumar, Father of Ram Anuj (Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia)
